1MW PV Energy Storage Project vegetable greenhouse in northwest of China-07

1. Project Overview
Objective: To construct a 1MWp PV power generation system on the top of vegetable greenhouses, and to install an appropriately sized energy storage system. This project aims to achieve clean energy generation, local consumption, peak-valley arbitrage, enhance grid stability, reduce agricultural electricity costs, increase comprehensive agricultural income, and create a demonstration project for the integration of modern agriculture and new energy.

PV installed capacity: 1 MWp (DC side)
Energy storage system capacity: determined based on electricity load, peak-valley electricity price difference and smooth output demand .
Covered greenhouse area: approximately estimated value, e.g., 10,000  square meters
Core model: “Agriculture and PV complementarity” + “Integrated PV and energy storage”.

Power supply working mode:
Mains power, Wind and PV are all available PV and wind power charge the battery priority.Once charged fully,  PV and wind supply power to the load.  When there is a shortage of electricity, the mains power is supplemented.
Mains power not available, Wind&PV both available Wind and solar power supply the equipment, When there is a shortage of electricity, energy storage will be supplied.
Peak hours of Mains power Wind and solar power supply, and the Energy storage will be supplied when there is a shortage of electricity.
